Cleaning operation of glass tempering furnace

You should clean the glass tempering furnace if the following situation occurs: The glass tempering furnace has produced continuously for 30-days, the rollers scratch the glass seriously or the production has many pocking marks. The detailed cleaning instructions is as below.

1. Press the “FURNACE COVER OPEN” button to raise the upper furnace after the furnace temperature drops down to room temperature (The max. Rising-up height is 400mm).

2. Put some plastic cloth on the rollers, clean the radiant plate in upper furnace with wire brushes manually, then take the plastic cloth away.

3. Polish the quartz ceramic rollers with waterproof abrasive paper till they are smooth.

4. Remove the dust on the rollers and radiation shield in bottom furnace by the aspiratore.

5. Moisten the stick which is wrapped by towels or the sponge mop with distilled water or pure water, then wring it out. Wipe the roller bed carefully along its track till there’s no dirt on the towel or mop(You can touch the rollers with your hands to see if they are clean). Finally, press the “FURNACE COVER CLOSE” button to close the furnace.

When you close the furnace, please choose the STEPPING MODE. Observe the running state of the rollers. Normally after a long time producing, the furnace may get deformed. The furnace may drop too low to make the roller bed stuck, even break the bed. This mode can prevent the above-mentioned accident.
