The cleaning maintenance for the glass tempering furnace

After 30-day continuous production or there are obvious scratch and pocking marks on the glass, the furnace should be cleaned. The detailed steps are as follow:

[ 1 ] Press the “FURNACE COVER OPEN” button to raise the upper furnace after the furnace temperature drops down to room temperature (the max rising up height is 400mm).

[ 2 ] Put a bed of plastic cloth onto the rollers, manually clean the radiant plate in upper furnace with wire brush, then take the plastic cloth away.

[ 3 ] Polish the quartz ceramic rollers with waterproof abrasive paper till they are smooth to the touch.

[ 4 ] Absorb the dust on the rollers and radiation shield in bottom furnace with the aspirator.

[ 5 ] Water the sponge mop or the stick-which is covered with towel- with distilled water or pure water, and then wring it. Wipe the roller bed slowly along the roller bed till there’s no dirty marks on the towel or mop(use your hand to touch the rollers and feel no dust). At last, press the “FURNACE COVER CLOSE” button to close the furnace.
